Ovation offers great medical, dental and vision insurance. Our employees have the option of enrolling in one of three available medical coverage options through UPMC Health Plan. Three plans are available so that you can choose what is right for you, including two traditional options that have different cost distributions and an HSA. All three health insurance options include standard vision coverage through Vision Benefits of America. There is also an enhanced vision program available for an additional fee. Regardless of the plan you choose, your health benefits will start on the first of the month following your hire date.
Ovation offers a comprehensive retirement program. This two-piece retirement program includes a Savings Plan and Cash Balance Plan. Employees over the age of 21 who have worked at least 1,000 hours will receive a match of 50 cents on the dollar up to 6%. Depending on where you work and your age and service, your retirement credits can range from 2.5% to 6% of eligible pay. Each plan allows for 100% investment after 1000 hours per year for three years.
Vacation – Paid Time Off (PTO) policy:
Ovation has a PTO or Paid Time Off program. Instead of having separate banks of time for illness or vacation, these are combined into one bank and allow you to use it as you see fit. Paid time off is accrued based on hours of employment. We also offer seven paid holidays and a rollover plan so that at the end of every year, you will also be able to roll over any unused time into the following year, until you accrue up to 150% of the annual PTO accrual. Directly related to the PTO, we also offer a PTO Buy and Sell program to allow you flexibility with your time off.
Tuition Reimbursement plan:
We offer a Tuition Assistance program that you and any spouses or dependents are eligible for after one year of your employment with Ovation. This benefit provides up to $5,000 per academic year towards qualified tuition expenses. Dependent children are eligible for tuition benefits at 50% of the cost per credit up to $6,000, and you may be eligible to receive up to $2,000 for your eligible spouse/domestic partner. The tuition assistance for dependents is only available if they attend the University of Pittsburgh, a community college, or a health care related program at a technical school.
